The Chaplain Bishop or Adjutant General Your Grace, It is my witness indeed.
The Co-Consecrator Bishop Darrell Keith Dove, Sr.
Are you, Your Grace, as a Bishop in our Lord’s Church, in agreement with this choice of this man to sit among us as a Prince in the in our LORD’S Church?
The Chaplain Bishop or Adjutant General
Your Grace, I am in full agreement with this choice.
Bishop DWIGHT P. DOVE
Almighty God, who by Thy Divine Providence hath appointed Sacred Orders of Ministers for the administration of Thy beloved Church, and did inspire thine Apostles, to appoint those whom you have chosen to the Sacred Orders thereof. Make your son, Clarence, I beseech thee, O Lord, to be modest, humble, and consistent in his administration. Grant him, by both word and goodly example, to faithfully serve Thee in this exalted office to the glory of Thy Holy Name, and the edification of Thy Church.
Grace him to have a ready mind and will, to observe all spiritual disciplines; that he, always have the good conscience, and continue ever stable and steadfast. Replenish him with the truth of Thy doctrine; uphold him in strength, by the power of Thy dear Son Jesus Christ, that he may so well believe himself fit for this office. Grant this, we beseech thee, most merciful Lord, through Jesus Christ, our Mediator and Redeemer, now and forever. Amen.
Bishop DWIGHT P. DOVE
I, present, Bishop-Designate
The New Bishop-Designate then greets the church.
The Chief Celebrant and other Bishops and Overseers greet the new Bishop-Designate and they greet other members of the clergy. The People greet each other.
Grace, mercy and peace from God, our father, through our Lord Jesus Christ be with each of you. Amen!
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. 4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. 5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. 7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore, in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life, which is in Christ Jesus, 2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. 3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day; 4 Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy; 5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also. 6Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
